Kettlebell Weight Exercises part one
This is not only a convenient and very effective way to do your workouts, it will give anyone excellent results if you knuckle down to a regular program and sensible diet
The other big plus for doing kettlebell weight exercises is that they are portable and need very little room to exercise with i suggest that you start with a kettlebell that you can manage, but still gives you a good workout.
To save spending money needlessly, maybe a trip to the local gym that trains with them is in order so you can try out different weights and see which one is appropriate for you at this time
Once you have an ideally weighted one to train with lets start with a general session to get you used to training with them, starting with your kettlebell on the floor
Then with your legs shoulders width apart bend over and pick up the weight and have it hanging at your side now gently using body motion swing the kettlebell to and fro then up to where it is now placed by the side of your head
And the body of the kettlebell underneath its handle resting on the top of your forearm. Now push straight up and back down for 3 sets of 8 reps then change arms
Now the use of a dining chair will help here or any flat surface of the same height, place hand on chair, bend over horizontal then pick up the weight and lift straight up
Ending up at the underside of your armpit do this again for 3 sets of 8 with each arm this is a good back exercise
Again using a flat surface, you can lie down on your back with (you can use the floor) Lift the kettlebell and position your arm by the side of your chest
Then push straight up and do the press for 3 sets of 8 reps then change arms and do the same. Make sure you always do smooth and even movements.
Right now stand up with your legs over shoulders width apart and the kettlebell in the middle Pick it up and go over to one side where you will pass the weight from
One hand to the other around your ankle / lower leg then up and the same with the other leg do this 8 times for 3 sets
